Luca Meanti

Hi! My name is Luca, I was born in Crema February 17, 1990, and just love to draw and create! I have cultivated this passion since childhood, when I started to draw characters and scenes from my favorite cartoons. I continued to work on my skills to high school, where I decided to take a step forward and enroll, upon graduation, at the International School of Comics in Florence, where I figured out that I wanted to draw for a living. I finished my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, where I graduated with honors with a thesis on the design of the characters in entertainment. I’ve also been an animation student at Animschool, learning trough amazing instructors about the principles of animation and basic body mechanics.

Since 2011 I work as a freelance illustrator and collaborate with some important italian publishers, but my dream is to help create incredible movies. I had to take many type of jobs where art was not involved, but my passion always kept my dream alive!
